valve cover gaskets

yes they were milled, i make sure they are all on the covers when i set them down, then they still leak.....

ill have to clean the snot out of the head surface that they sit on and make sure they are dry

Did you modify the valve cover for the studs so they don't hit? If you are having a lot of problem then I would look at that also. Sometimes the stud its self hits not just the nut

it doesnt look like the heads of the studs contact the covers in between, but i will look into that, ive alwsays wondered that but they dont appear to touch
