Valve rocker box

Has anybody installed arp head studs and had the valve rocker box hang up on the back intake side stud?

Very common problem with the 24V's. Seems the bolt holes in the blocks are not tapped evenly. 2 options to fix the problem, either get a bottoming tap and finish tapping the bolt holes, or just clearance the Valve cover so the stud clears.

Just shaved the rocker box on mine

^^^^^ this. Take a dremel to the corner of the box. You don't have to remove much.

If you don't happen to catch this before you fire it up and take it around the block, it WILL make a huge mess. So I've heard... LOL
