getblown dude your truck runs good man your truck had really no hop. Maybe its how you have your truck setup.
Surely it has nothing to do with reading the track and knowing I have to come out easy so the tires don't bite and try to wrinkle and then bounce forward. It was definitely all the tracks fault. Its easier to blame the track.
Oh oh wait let me guess....hanging weights would have prevented the holes in the track an made everything all better. There were about 20 trucks....3 of them broke, and 2 of those were broke in less than 5' because they dumped the clutch on a hard biting track. If it was too loose people would *****, now we hook on a track that is actually tight, and they ***** because they can't get off the line.
I'm still learning things but I at least learned that when the track is tight you gotta launch easy. Its not rocket science...

You are correct. Up here its all pure clay too and we cant do the 4000+ rpm clutch drops like they do on the softer tracks. I usually have to come out at 2500 riding the clutch like and old lady and drop the hammer when its movin. A well set up automatic would really have the advantage on the harder tracks. That track was without a doubt a power track and it wasnt even that rough lookin to me.
nice video, track looked good to me. What's up with no one hanging any weight?
This is my uneducated opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.
The tires are biting so hard that they flex and then unload and its like a spring. Play the video in HD, put it on full screen and watch the rear tires very closely on the blue CR dually, and the green reg cab. The bounce all starts in the tires. Both of those trucks, as well as the grey CR short bed, maroon CR short bed, and silver CR shortbed all run BFG AT's. The ones with hopping issues are all running the same tire, it could be coincidence, or may
