vp piston in a CR

What's everyones thoughts? anyone tried it? I was thinking with the top ring lower there would be less chance of cracking

Couldnt you just machine the bowl out, weld it and machine any cone/bowl design you want? Giving you the lower top ring and the desired bowl design?

I think a vp bowl and 03/04 and 6.7 bowl are damn near identical

The spray angle is 153* on a VP bowl.
