vp44 problem-need help

truck is the one in my sig. Truck surges on-off-on-off, like you were switching it w/the key while driving. II says the pump checks out ok. No codes. tried swapping APPS, ECM, no change. Does it every morning when you first drive it. Once engine is hot it only does it every now and again from1800-2200rpm. Hope someone can help!

So the engine shuts down almost completely? Then revs back up.

yep. shuts off completely, then immediatly comes back. seems to happen most often around 2000-2200 rpms, give or take. Still leaning towards the electronics on the pump.

did you try an APPS re-set ?

is it blowing white smoke when this happens?

tried two different cam and apps sensors. No effect. got a stock pump i know is good should give me an answer. Id already sent the current pump to industrial for a check, but ive been told the test bench isnt always right.

yeah, good fuel. Changed pump last night, so far so good.
