Waste gate replacement?

Used isnt a real issue- just check them over....... my turbo was eight months old and had less then 10K miles on it.

Yes the truck will be started tomorrow- brakin the cam- recheck valves- drive it for 50 miles- check the valves again and I will try to have SOME KIND OF RESTAINT foranother 50 miles...... then she is gonna be driven like she was supposed to be- hehehhehehehhehe

I dont want to be a bearer of bad news, but dont be surprised that they call you and tell you they wont warranty it with the crack in the housing. They did the same thing to me when I sent in a 14cm housing on trade for a 13cmSS housing and a upgrade to a 71mm turbine wheel. I called them and told them I wanted to do a swap/upgrade. They were VERY freindly and said "no problem" it would cost me something like $300 for the housing exchange and $300 for the wheel.
I send them the turbo that was only about a year and a half old that only ran on the truck for about 5000 miles.
I get a call from them saying that they found a crack in the housing and that it was now garbage. I asked for pictures and they sent them. The crack is extremly small and I posted on here about it and 99% of the guys that replied back said its 100% normal for a turbine housing to crack.
I called up HTT and explained to them what everyone said and they just said nope cant do an exchange. I just told them to send it back to me, on top of it, they made me pay shipping back.

They are sending me a housing today or tomorrow hopefully and they are going to pay for 1 day shipping. So seems that they have been standing behind their product. But then again, I have a 13cm housing and the waste gate on them have been a normal problem. So that might be the reason they are sending me a new exhaust housing.
