Watch my vid, give your opinion

I'm no pro, but to me it looks like the tires are good. I do think you should air up more though. If you look at the vid, about the :33 second mark, your tires started a bounce & you could actually see them compress.

They look good to me, get a couple hooks on different track conditions and then see how you like them.

BBD

Im not the pro puller but I would change rims and tires myself and run 16'' rims and a AT tire not that aggressive maybe a Mickey thompson like BBD 1 had for years, and air them down and you'll have more bite and bulge on the ground think it might help. Not sure those 20'' are the ticket

I'm by no means an expert, but it looks like they bit a little too much, so maybe a little more air would do the trick to get more wheel speed.

I was thinken the same thing, I remember Albert used to run I think they were 20's and they didn't seem to be the best choice.

First of all what gear did you run and what RPM were you able to hold down the track, that will tell you if they are biting too much or not enough. I am not a fan of the bigger wheels (anything over 17's) on the pulling track but thats my personal opinion.

The look to be about right to me, I think on a good clay track you may run into issues trying to hold the RPM's up when they bite at the big end of the track, but for the tracks you seem to have out there I would keep running them.

Pull looks good but like others said need to play at the track some more. 20s look good I think

5th low, held it at 4000 going down the track (it wanted to spin higher but I wanted to keep it from defueling). Pulled down to 3800 at the end of the track. I think it works out to 39mph wheel speed. (3.73's with 32.5" dia. tire.)

look like you had a good pull to me! lot of sharp trucks pullin, even all them trucks that looked like thay had 8in+ of lift pulled well

When I get on my truck real hard and the rpms wrap up to 4k real quick the lift pump will cut off for a bit then come back on but I also get a rail pressure. Code but if I rev it slow it won't do it. on my smarty

Do they have a roller at the new track location? It looked like the track was a bit better than the previous videos, but it still looks like the track was not compacted. To me the truck looked to be working a bit harder than it needed to, meaning the tires were digging alot. I would keep them, try them out on a few different tracks and see how they perform. No one on the west coast has tried that combo yet, so it is a crap shoot. There is a very fine line between digging in and not going anywhere and not having enough traction.

No roller. They have a water truck and a scraper. The little bounce you see at the end is where I drive over the ruts the tractor was making all day. All in all, i think the guys are doing a good job with the track--as good as they can. A roller would be nice though.

They watered the track down right before the extreme class pulled -- wonder how that might have affected things...

If you are turning 4000 in 5th, I would air down the fronts a little more, maybe like 25 or something. That track looks pretty loose, so I would look for as much bite as possible without bogging the truck. Wheel speed is key.
