Water/meth pump

to my way of thinking a hydraulic pump doesn't like water at all. i can see this not lasting very long at all. why not a small pressure washer pump either driven by a electric motor similar to the system you showed,or belt driven reducer on the engine with a relief back to tank to regulate the desired pressure

I tried a .129 pump @ 1800 RPM there was only enough flow to keep one .5 nozzle at 550 psi.
IMO you will need a much larger pump.

That pump pulls 80.8 Amps at 12 volts if it's truly 1.3 HP. Make sure you run large enough wire to support it properly.

its the series wound motor pulling the 80 amps & at 2500 psi it could pull over 250 amps
