Water temp 2005 5.9

Unless you have a heavy load or have the A/C on it rarely kicks on! Mine kicks on around 200 and never has with the a/c so I installed an extra fan for the condensor! Now it blows cold and doesn't over pressure due to little or no air movement.
 
Was running down interstate and noticed water temp was about 220 F was not pulling any load. Just curious. I know it has multi speed fan clutch.
 
I was told to turn on the ac and put a rag on the condenser. If it stays the fan is working. EBay was the cheapest fan clutch I found just make sure it's a mopar.

That's what I do. But having clean coolers is a must. When full of mud/grass/bugs it will run hot at high RPMS, low speeds and sometimes just randomly.
