Need to replace or rebuild my DD3600 12cb. Looking for some options, I do not pull or race my truck. Street drive and dyno is all its about.
As I undertand it, the lever type plates will not last daily driving?
The diaphragm type increase plate load as they wear. Trouble is once you exceed 3600 you need to go to a lever type.

I have a G56,

TIA

Personally, Id just have Peter rebuild it. I hear 3850's are a PITA to drive on the street. Or drop a 48re in it.

I think that you will benefit the most from a SBC DD 3600lb diaphragm Pressure Plate, 6 CB per side of disc, HD sprung hub discs, ductile flywheel...

well, how do you like it?

Love it! It is an awesome clutch. We are going to be putting it through some rough pulls this weekend. It is everything we wanted in a better clutch, and it has some very tough standards to live up to. The other truck has a very sweet weighted triple disk, and the street puller it replaced worked very well for a long time.

That truck will be going all by itself if we don't get this water injection on my truck!! By the way, the steel braided lines.... WAY to short!

Dude, I'm not talking about your truck. I would not call that thing your trying to run a clutch.:thankyou2:

Whenever you decide to step into a real clutch, let me know. :poke: I get you a Kenny's clutch.

New clutch is in and it is nice to drive. Went to a diaphragm DD 3600 6cb and boy does it shift nice. Peddle pressure is reduced in comparison the lever type. I will give it a few miles then throw the power to it.

Did you lube the input shaft when you had it accessible?
