What is everyone making with a VP?

599 hp 1256 tq. going to run again soon and see if I can break 600. All I need is one more pony

sorry that was with the old turbo a 35/40 hybrid
was 498hp and 1000 something tq

I'm running an HX35 with a 14cm and S400 74mm. I know that the HX is killing my numbers right now. Drive pressure is a little high too. Just a set of Edge 150's. I ran in 5th gear but the place I dyno'd at normally only does gas cars so I am thinking that they aren't getting enough load or something right on the dyno either. I just got my FASS 150/150 on this last week. Runs alot better now. Hopefully going to get a 62 or 64mm S300 here shortly and some bigger injectors to got with the S400. Any suggestions? Chris

I hit 534/1053 with M5's, 62/71/14, Redline/Adrenaline stack. That was using a 70% tune in Adrenaline. I swapped to a 64/71/14, should be around 575/600 now...judging by seat of pants dyno. LOL

Wow. I think that there is something up with the dyno that I was on. Gotta get up to a diesel shop dyno soon. Chris

i did 443 with jammer 4s edge comp 5x5 water/meth edge jammer bb turbo 58/68 non gated

I would say your seat of the pants dyno should be pretty accurate. I had mine on the dyno a couple weeks ago and the best I got was 578hp, it was on a dyno jet 248x I don't know if that was, with or with out the correction factor not sure how it works. Is there a way to tell? My torque was a little low I think, but more load should of helped that.

Did 573 and 1121 just on fuel without tuning. Smarty and edge were killing my numbers nomatter how i dialed them up. Need a redline. I was all so only hitting about 53lbs boost when tipically on the the street its between 65 to 70lbs. Just kept rolling the coals couldn't clear it up.

My numbers were corrected. Uncorrected would have been 554hp. I ran on a 248x as well. Here is a vid, my truck is the navy blue/silver 2nd gen with the CAT liscense plate.

Chris, if you are in the truck, or driving when on the dyno.. watch your boost numbers.. I would think with your setup, you should be spooling fairly quick.. but something they don't load the trucks enough to build boost.. Do you have a wastegate on the 35/14?? Sounds like its time to start tuning & adjusting the gate.. or looking for another problem.. You should be making those numbers with just the 35/14...
Good Luck

I made 621 Hp on Dunbars dyno in 2006 at Scheid.
industrial's Vp AK5 turbo. 7@12 injectors open tubes and an edge drag comp. then went out and place 6th in the 2.8 street class

Yeah. Better start doing some tuning now. Think my 35 is on its last leg so I am probably gonna get a S300 here shortly and hopefully that will help. Chris

i think the key to get a lot of power is a large single. i am going to dyno my new turbo and old set up soon. if you get a s300 get a s365 or anything in the 64/71/13 class

BD towing twins, quad ADR, all the supporting mods and Mach 5's did 571 fuel and 599 with a small bit of spray. I never dynoed these 240's b/c they are too big for these twins and I have no idea what it's making with the 10's that are in it now.
