what rear gears

Alright I am wantin to take the stock rear out and replace it with something a little Better for drag racing I have a 99 2wd what do you all think it is not modified much now but I want to do the rear end and trans then work on the rest of it so...

well if you plan on running fast your gonna need all the gear you can with the limited RPMs of a diesel. Mine with an automatic and 33" tires, 4:10 gears is at 3200rpm at 112 mph.

3.73 with a locker are my vote. I like air lockers but thats my opinion.
