what the fastest u can go on stock injectors and pump

i got a friend that got into trouble in cummins forum far askin whats the fastest you can run with stock injectors and vp44 pump. they said its imposible for him to get into the 14 no one has ever done is this true? his mods are

lift pump
w/m kit
64mmturbo
exhaust
arc flow intake horn
quadzilla
 
stock injectors, Stock pump, Edge Drag Comp, HX 40/B2 twins, billet trans, Fass, BD RAD. I ran a 14.6@90mph... only did this cause my big injectors were being recut, and I had the urge to drag race.

i cought that thread over on CF, and noone said he cant hit 14's infact i think everyone pretty much said 14.5 is about all they can get you, and your buddie said he was shooting for like a 13.4 or something.. at 5200ft.. and the consensus was noone thought he could do it
 
my bad it was 13s u should see all the pms he got they wanted to kick him off for starting trouble. i know hes in the 13s cause he ran a truck that ran 13.6 and beat him buy a full truck

There are a lot of variables on racing someone on the street... if it was from a dead stop and they both got a fair start to the race, then maybe, but if its from a roll, turbo lag and momentum can through off weather its a true win or not.

When my truck was close to stock I ran a local dmax from a roll and i beat him by two trucks, but went to the track and I ran 2 tenths slower then him.

Getting the fastest time out of stock injectors is not a big deal so just take it to the track and have fun.

I've seen a lot of relatively close street races where the car's ETs were up to two full seconds apart from each other when they took them to the track. I would never gauge performance based off of an activity like this, there are just too many variables involved to make it a worthwhile test.

Take it to the track and see what it runs.
 
Hmmm i wonder who your talking about.... haha at least everyone is cool over here CF started talking crap. Saturday we shall see i know my truck is in the 13s with SO pump and Stock injectors but its all talk until i have the slip, plus its 5,200 ft in the sky!!!!
 
with a tall enough cliff a stock truck can go as fast as you want!!!!

That right there is a pretty nice combo and you see the time he ran. Unless you've got something similar in something lighter I'd be hard pressed to say you'd be under 14.0. Especially 13.4.

Tell us about your setup...... If you have a single 64 with stock junk and tuning, you better have a helluva tailwind in a 4x4....
 
My set up:
SOVp44, Quad/Pulse, AK4, ATS ArcFlow, Water/Meth 50/50 Mix, ATS tranny with billet input, Lockup Switch. With my race tune on the quad ill see 45 PSI. She pulls really hard once its all lite.
 
Reg cab long bed? Ext cab long bed? Ext cab short bed? Stock size tires or oversize tires?
 
Short bed, tires are 285,70,16.... just a 2inch leveling kit.
 
If you turned the water/meth off, I don't think you'd see much quicker than 14.7 or so. If you run a heavy dose of water/meth... or should I say methanol with a little shot of water for color..., I could see a 13.99.

Go have fun, run it and report back. Some trucks are freaks of nature! There's a good chance that your truck has small upgraded injectors too, something like an RV275 or Jammer 1 from a previous owner assuming you are not the original owner.
 
his truck does run really good and the only way to really know is going to be take it to the track and we will be there on Saturday. good luck john
 
Well whats the highest mixture of water/meth i can run once or twice down the track without doing damage..
