What trans do I have ?

What does the Over Drive have for the planets?

Got a pic of the input?

Looking at the pump it looks to be a 47re.

I disagree, the 48RE pumps have that dark gray paint on them. The 47RE are bare metal.
 
That 6 pinion planetary is from a 48re. Is there a sealing ring on the stator support? If so that is also a 48re. I've had 2 03's that the vin said it was a 47 but they ended up being 48's. Never had one that vin said it was a 48 and ended up being a 47.

I'll have to check on the sealing ring I'm not sure, this Vin says 47 but I'm hoping this is a 48. It look as tho it is but i have to be sure before I take the time to plan a build for it

mic the sun shell, looks like it's ~1/4".... 48RE.


48RE also has 93 tooth count on forward drum frictions/hub. 47 has 61

He said it had the 6 pinion front planet so that's the 93 tooth one.

Looks to be mostly 48 parts from what we've seen
 
....twas posting for general knowledge for those who know no better
 
Awesome I hope it stays there for now! This should be a fun change up, I'm planning to put this in my super duty with a manual valve body. I appreciate all the help everyone
