What tune/mods for sled pulling?

I went to the "Buck" last sat. night for a street legal diesel pick up event, looked like alot of fun and I was thinking of maybe pulling my truck at the next street night.
I have DJ`s looney right now, which is great tune for drag racing & general daily driving but I don`t think it would work too god for pulling? any suggestions on a pulling tune or would the looney work? what kind of egt`s should I expect to see while pulling?
Other than the SCT Xcal2 & exhaust my truck is 100% stock any other things I should consider upgrading/modifying before attempting a pull?

I don't know much on the 6.0, but some tires and an intake would probably help you out.

I have pulled my 05 alot. Using Innovatives extreme race. I have never watched the temps. i run 4lo in 3rd. Always turns out good. I am trying to get the front end from bouncing right now. The 6.0's seem to rev good and carry good ground speed that helps out in the end
