I was listening to the transmission in the earlier vid. It sounds like a manual, and the smoke follows like a manual as well. The times reflect an automatic, i just thought it was shifting similar to a manual when i listened.
 
No, its an automatic in Princes truck. I pmd him awhile back to see what it takes to drop an auto in a 5sp truck.
He said the best he did was the low 12sec. pass. He also said the truck had an 11sec pass in it if the clutch would hold the 3rd gear launches.
He said his clutch consisted of a hodge podge of parts. Haisley and SBC.

Im trying, My plans are to go well into the 11's on fuel alone, but time will tell because as we all know, plans never go as planed!!!

I plan on hittin the track once this year with the stock bottom end in the engine, and hoping to have a better bottom end buy indy!

I think it woould do it right now, but i dont feel the need to junk a good block just to do it a month earlier.

The only thing i own that has spray on it is the shelf in the garage:nos:!!!
