Where to take my pump? stay twins or go single?

ouch

ps - i got a head sittin here ready to go if you are in a bind (and rich)

tanked n mag'ed ported n polished surfaced sick ass valve job .011 protrusion ss wire big springs etc all new

I wasn't sure how bad it was.... Could be causing my bit of power loss? And I'm "thinking" like 100 hp at times? (depending on which setup I had).

I would definitely send the pump out for a bit of tweaking. It doesn't hurt how they drive, just makes more power. If you want power without heat, twins are the only answer. No single will hang with them on a long pull. Too bad you're not closer. My 887 is just sitting in the box right now. I made over 700 easily with it and 181dv's. It would at least give you food for though as to whether it was worth the extra expense.

FWIW

had i a 12V still, ida listened to this man... (or made an offer on the pump)..

For your HP goals, you should be there with a 215 with some effort... but it shoulda been feasible...

but the source of most 12V hp issues is the tuning of the pump.. the average joe can only do so much, some with better luck than others or better skills... so dont feel too bad...look at what i was able to get with a pump with more potential.. and my apparent lack of skill:bang

but since the motor is out, have the pump worked on, pick a turbo, injector.. and enjoy...

Best of luck

Rick
