which clutch to go with

You will not be happy with that clutch on the street, nothing against the clutch atall, it's just that for a high 300 or low 400HP truck a single disk is going to be iffy. Yes, it will likely hold, and could do so for years, I know mine did. Do it right the important time, the FIRST time. A lower plate load DD will be an easier driving, "friendlier" clutch than a high plate load grabby material single. Knowing what I do now, would I have replaced my stock clutch with a single? Nope, I would have put a DD in it and been done.

IMO if you are not sure which one to get call and talk to Peter at south bend and should be able to point you in the right direction.
