put a detriot tru trac ls in the rear they are still a lsd but are alot stronger and will lock up faster and better than the stock lsd. if you want to drive on the street and still be able to turn you will have to put a selectable locker in the front or a free spin hub kit with locking hubs. them you will be able to run a mechanical locker in the front.

ARB all the way. I had them on my old Bronco and that was sweet. I had 37's on here and when they locked I could have crawled up a tree. Everyday driving was great. Plus you could use the compressor for air.
Do not get a Detriot! You will be miserable and annoyed to CHIT! Also I saw my tires wore quicker when I had one.

I have ARB's in both axles,...total selectability,..and never had an issue with them yet

I figured I'd get mixed reviews. LOL What about stacking clutches in the rear & ARB up front? How are the stacked rears for street driving?

Anyone know a easy way to determine which rearend I have under the front of my truck? They list 3 different shaft sizes for dana 60 on the website.

I think it's 30 splines in the 12v and 32 splines in the 24v.

30 spline in 94 to 00, 01 and 02s are 32 spline IIRC!

The best option for the front is a power lock...hands down! When under power they lock up tight, but when the front end is unlocked, it's just like stock! The best part is they are cheep...i got mine for 150$ off ebay and new are like 400$

I had my clutches stacked tighter when I had a new LS put in and it works great on the road. The shop that did mine had a lot of experience with all the motorsports and got mine "just right". They work great on the road, but I always spin both tires when off-road or sledpulling. IMO if your trying to do it cheap and still DD it, thats a great option.

just pull an axel out it only takes about half hour to have it back together cause your year it could be eighter or but i would say its 30 cause its the old style rotor set up. and i do got that transfur case out for when ever u want it just let me know but i know a e locker from mark was about 700 bucks and a little bit to install thats is what i was going to go with until i decieded that my truck was just going to be a puller not a street truck so i went with a detriot

I am trying the truetrac in my front this year for next years pull season. Heard some good things about it and its cheap.
