I have a BW Airwerks S475 w/ 1.32 AR.... and I was going to run the HX35 on top for now, but I'm thinking that I just want to do the job once.

So what size top would be a good choice? Planning to run DDP4, ported head and P7100 w/mods.

:Cheer:

62/65/13 would good IMO. I would give the guys at Engineered diesel a call and see what they say.

62/65 will work or a 300g will also be a good match. Depends on your horsepower goals.

I was going to say he351 but it will be really hot at 650 I'll bet. I really like it for a daily driver on top of the 3b.

So should I shoot for something like 62/65/12-13 or more like a 62/71/14? Would a 64 be detrimental to the set up?

:)

personally id run it with a 62/71/14 with the dual 1" gates

64 would be alot of extra lag for almost no power diff

Thanks Guys.....

One more question for ya.... what diferences between 2nd gen and 3rd gen turbos are there? Does it matter for setting up some twins on my 69 Ford?

I would run a SPS6280 or a SPS6270. The SPS6270 would be better for driving around town. The SPS6280 would make better hp. Thanks, Brady

3rd gens have a curved outlet on the compressor cover and a bigger outlet on the turbine housing.

I don't imagine that would cause me any problems for building twins? Just hate to go one direction and find out that the other path was 10 times easier.....

I'm running a heavily ported 62/65/12 over a 475/1.32, it works great. Quick to light and pulls hard on top, just over 600hp on tap and EGTs peak @ 1315* and if I stay in it they start to drop from there.
