Which width tire?

I like realy like the toyos but does anyone run them pulling? I know they will hook up good its jus i dont want to break stuff all the time. Are they a good pulling tire or am i better of with the truxus sts or bf goodrich ats.

Alot of us out here in the NW use the Toyo MT's. They work great on the loose tracks here and the few hard tracks they grab hard. I'm not sure if they will grab too much on some of the harder tracks out east, but there has been very little carnage from too much tracking, even with the heavy hitters at 9000lbs.

Arent those Toyo's pretty pricey?? I guess they all are but arent they a bit higher? They are a good looking tire thats for sure.

Well ill probally run the toyo mts. I like them better then anything else and they will last a longer than the sts.

They had made them in the bias plies. Now I see they don't or they're just not listed anymore. They were available in 15,16,17s. I believe.

Take a look at ProComp X-Terrains in the 305/65/17. I have not pulled a sled with them but the traction is awsome and I got 45K miles out of my set. They look really great too. The baja Claws are a dead knock off of these.
I switched to the Extreme AT to reduce noise and smooth out the ride but really miss the look of the X-Terrains. They are really popular out here in Cali, the rack crawlers use them a lot.

I've pulled with the Toyo M/T and on a hard track they will bite hard I did this to my axle tube ( no traction bars)

If you pull allot I would look for a less aggressive tread. They are a good tire with decent street manners.

If you are dead set on the Toyo's try this place for a good price.

What did you do weld the traction bar mounts on the axle? Ill probally run the toyo mts ill only pull probally ten times or so this summer maybe less.

i pulled all last season with the toyo mts and they did awesome, loose tracks they will dig holes lol, and i didnt break anything at all

I have heard good things about the STS's..but I think I am personally going to run BFG ATs. If you go with the Toyo M/Ts I think you will be very happy with them as a daily driver, but might be a little much for some tracks.
