White smoke

I switched my rockers from a vp 24v. They are identical except don't have the plastic retainers. There were broken pieces of plastic in my engine and I wasn't about to put those things back in. I found a set at a local shop for 200.
 
Our trucks must have been brothers. I know a guy parting out a vp44 maybe I should hit em up. I'm thinking on doing a Hamilton cam while I'm there. My pushrods seem fine I rolled em on a table no wobble except for where the ball on the end was welded. I'm sure with the rocker not pushing all the way down something had to give probably the cam since pushrods good. I'm going to pull pistons this weekend and should by then know what all I'm going to have to buy. Thanks again.
 
Should have done a leakdown test, you'd have a better idea of where its coming from.
