Lost the clutch in one of my work trucks yesterday (98 24v). Just got it towed to the house and havent torn it apart yet but was looking for some advice.

Since this is a work truck and not modified (yet), I was probably just going to go back with a heavy duty stocker from one of the local parts houses.

Does anyone have a good nv4500 laying around? I'd like to find one that is ready to bolt in so I can use rebuild this one when I have some spare time.

I'll be making a trip to Colorado next week so picking up shouldnt be a problem.

Please let me know if u have something or some suggestions...

Thanks,
Frank

Valair has a good stock organic faced with woven brass mild upgrade for like $300. Why not put in the slightly upgraded clutch while you're in there? By the way, their 13" upgrade with that same friction material held 499 on the dyno in my old 99' 2500 with NV4500 and it drove great. Smooth engagement, quiet, predictable, tow friendly, etc.
