Anyone one using a HTT Pro Street 66/71/14 ...? how do you like it... whats spool up like...anything you would recomend or change in your current set up...

I do and have raced it hard for over 2 years and had no issues, great chargers for sure. I'd get the stainless housing though they have a 13 if more street driven or the 16 for a bit more turbine flow and top end pull. Ryan

I ran one all summer. Loved it spooled well on the street for the size charger it was and ran great at the drag strip. Egts were always pretty good never over 1200. Drive pressure was good to at 65 psi of boost I was only running 68 psi of drive pressure. I only ran it with 5x12 injectors though wish I could of tried it some bigger sticks.

i ran one on my 24v for about a year and loved it. spool up was a little slow but once it lit........im looking for another one actually. anyone got one?

Got a 66/71/13ss HTT. I love this charger. Way better than any 62 I've tried. Spools great around town, runs great on the highway, lots of top end. I can't say enough good things about it. I do have a cam and ported exhaust manifold which helps a bunch but still. This thing is a pleasure to drive.

I'll bet the 13 would spool a little faster maybe a couple hundred rpm. My 66 with the 14cm housing would spool by 2100 rpm. Any one actually ran a 13 to know what it spools at.

1700-1800rpm.

That's with a tight auto, 3.54 gears, 35" tires, and 383hp. I'm sure with some actual fueling it would spool a LOT better.

ya i'd say..when i had my 66/71/14 it lit around 2100. i really cant wait to find another one of these.

I was nervous about running a 66 but after driving it I won't own anything else.

I was the same way. But I think it is a pretty decent all around turbo. I just hope the new setup doesn't make me regret taking it off.

If by new setup you mean your p-pump, I don't think you will regret it at all. I've got II's version of the 66/71/0.80 and like most guys, it spools around 2100ish rpm and pulls until the GSK says stop. If your turbo really does spool up at 1700-1800 with a cam and ported manifold, I better invest in one. Thats where my 62mm hits. Makes for a very nice driver. 2100 rpm, not so much.

I have a 66/71/16ss on my 05. Of course it's the top turbo on the set of twins... I had some problems with the wastegate, but that has been corrected now. I don't have any complaints at all. I don't have any problems building boost within the 8 second NHRA autostart. I think the CR's spool large turbos better then the 12v or 24v, if tuned right. The twins on the 05 are just as streetable as the much smaller twins on my 02. Now towing heavy...
