will an np205 from a getrag fit behind a nv4500?

i think it will but in not positive. its been a while since ive seen a getrag. if not there is an adapter you can get from advance adapters to put a chevy 205 behind a 4500. what year truck is this going in?
 
95, just thinkin how nice it would be to have a full gear driven t-case.
 
in a 95 you cant use the getrag 205 you will have to use the older 70's ford205. the dodge 205 has the front drive shaft out put on the wrong side for your 95
 
i have a 1995 12 valve i did a nv 271 swap from transfer case express it totaled out to 1200 after the custom driveshaft the transfer case is out of a 2003 and newer dodges its the best one oem in my opinion and it goes in flawlessly
 
did the first gens run 1410 ujoints like the 2 gen? I have a 205 and want to get a yoke for it to fit 1410's any ideas

The 205's have three slotted oiling holes in the output shaft that makes them fragile. You can replace the output with a single oil hole design that makes them alot tougher. These single hole shafts are tough to find. Was the output shaft a slip yoke or bolt on yoke design ?
