ok i got an 03 cr and i was wondering if i could use it on a 12v how much bigger is the cr turbo then the hx35

I believe you need an adapter for the intercooler hookup as I think the location is a little different between the 2nd and 3rd gen turbo's.

Not worth it if its an 03-04 turbo. If it was an 04.5-07.5 then it might be worth it.

Just did this on a customers truck. Not worth the time and hassle. The down pipe had to be cut and rewelded (assuming you already have 4" exhaust) with a v band flange to fit the CR turbo elbow. On the pressure side a CR boot works but is not the best solution, so a tube has to be custom made there as well. It would be easier to use a HX-40, they are about the same size as a 04.5 CR turbo

I used one in my conversion, a way better neater fit IMO

yea if it's a HE351 and u don't wanna fork over the cash or can't then it isn't a bad deal.............maybe

i put an he-351 on inplace of hx 35. cools alot better 35-40 psi boost vs hx.well worth the work.

ok i also have a 07 turbo with 5,000 miles on it also but what do i have to do with the plug thats electric.

Just leave the plug, I welded mine shut but its not necessary. ATS makes a machined plug that threads in as well.
