wiring in manual OD switch

most pots aren't linear... you may have to tweak it at VERY small increments to find the sweet spot (if it's even possible to hit it)

Ya. I've got the one they recommend for the POT mod. Wish I had a voltmeter I could clamp on to the wires to make it easier to see the swing of it.

I think forrest meant they aren't a smooth linear curve. Might jump from 1.1v to 1.3v to 1.4v to 1.6v.

So I got 1-2-3-3rd lockup shifting nicely. 1-2-3 happens around 2000rpm and lockup is around 55mph and disengages at 52mph. But OD won't kick in. Get it dialed in to where OD shifts in whenever I push my OD button on and then 1-2 shift happens at 2400rpm, 2-3 happens at 2100rpm, lockup happens at 40mph and won't disengage till 32mph.

Just a thought, but would the lockup switch be affecting anything? I went ahead and reinstalled the relay in the fuse box and will see what that does tomorrow.

I've got a TPS on stand by but I'm gonna have to find an automatic truck linkage or convince my buddy to do a POT mod on his 97 auto and swap linkage with him.
