I no its asking alot but can anyone tell me what you workstock guys r running for a stock appearing charger . We recently picked up a 97 dodge long bed extended cab automatic truck and the boy wants to do some things to it and was thinking about putting a different charger on it but the rules for the street class says (MUST BE STOCK APPERING). So i was looking for some good ideas any help would be appreciated.

I run a stock hx35....prolly get my a$$ handed to me this year because of it.
You could always do a hybrid 35/40.

we were thinking of goin that route beings we have an h1c it would only be about $400 but i didnt no what all else was out there for stock appearing

they all appear the same.. depends on the rules. out here its a 2.4 type turbo will work

i talked to someone about modding an S300g for a bigger comp wheel, and changing the exh housing/wheel. it would be stock appearing but perform much better.

Garrett

he wants to be able to pull his camper around w it and still do good in the street class. im not really sure how big we can go and still be stock appoearing

after todays episode i dont think it will b making any pulls in the near future the killer dow pin caused havek

turbo

I ran a 60/69/14 hx35 last year on my workstock truck. It was a reg auto truck and worked well. I tied for points and lost by number of wins at the last pull.

oh sorry their already is a few 700hp work stock trucks they threw our a** out with just a little 500hp truck this weekend

nope whats that? I just find it hard to believe 700 on a STOCK appearing turbo. I have a cr with twins, sticks, and programmers and its not 700.

to think poeple were complaining that people are building dedicated pulling trucks for 2.6, now theres poeple building trucks for workstock, everyone wants to pull where theres less competition.

There have been purpose built workstock trucks since DHRA. Ask around about the red CC DMax that Dale Calander(sp) had. Sleddy can tell you all about it.
