It’s too bad we don’t have a photo of him slingin’ dirt (this must be at the end of the run, since the sled is on the ground), but this is Brandon’s Power Stroke Ford—tasteful and actually pretty tame looking.
:bang

You'll never see a Banks truck in a sled pull as long as N2O isnt allowed

We had a guy at the pull this weekend in a 6.0 with teh latest and greates banks package and w/m. Told us he had 525hp at the wheels and then asked if the dodge had enough... My buddy with a broken femur in hi 06 with a smarty and BD converter put about 20' on him. I wish my truck had been up and running so He could have lost to a 20 year old truck too... :D

I love reading those things. Gale reminds me of those old drunk guys you meet in a bar....you know the kind. When they talk, you just feel bad because you know they are believing it.

:bang:bang:bang

Sure glad my truck doesent smoke! :hehe:

Banks is no doubt 110% salesman. He knows how to butter up anyone that doesent know better.

Did anyone here go to that pull? Id love to hear the real story on it if anyone knows it.

Jason Burton's rig was sure a nice one. And that BD truck was nice too in it's day

110% salesman is the truth no doubt. He got me in the beginning...I fell into his trap. When I switched from a Big Hoss to a Edge Comp, I couldn't believe the difference between a 70hp Big Hoss & a 120hp Comp. Felt more like the comp was 400hp compared to the Big Hoss POS.

No kidding, reminds me of the PDR event in 03'

For those of you that don't know what Bob and I are talking about Jason Burton was the first person I ever saw click off an over 750hp number on #2 only with a 40/3B setup PDR Diesel Inc. The turbo diesel performance specialists! - Dyno Mania 2003 now I'm not going to say those were street injectors as I ran them too after Muncie 03' and you could read a new paper through the hole, they were "I think" a 7 x 23.

Jim

I remember hearing about that pull.
Here is Frank P... I forgot how to spell it. He's from Pennsylvania, and I thought he kicked some ars that weekend.

Well was anyone there!?! Did that fag in the white banks powered 7.3 actually win!?!

Wow, what's with the fag stuff? And yes he did win his class and my black F350 won the 7500lb class.

that pan is always going to be on the ground cause the way that picture looks there is about 2K pounds of dirt laying on the pan.....the box is all the way back so it must have been at the beginning of the run......

That is actually just a small layer dirt on the pan. He has metal over his pan so he doesn't end up with 2k lbs of dirt on it:)

There are no tracks in the dirt and there is no dirt in front of the pan, its the beginning of his pull
