Wrecker for SALE!

That truck is in AMAZING shape for how old it is... Did it ever get used? Those Holmes 600's could recover some amazing stuff back in the day

It got used, just not that much. I remember as a kid dad and I hauling in an 18 wheeler with it. I would imagine that is the heaviest thing it ever hauled.....had an empty van trailer on it.

Pretty cool old wrecker from back when GM was in love with that Mustard Yellow paint.

SOLD.

Headed to Ernie's Wrecker Service outside of Chicago to be restored and showed. :D

Couldn't be happier with that.

Knocked another 12 grand off my 2009 loan. :D Sad to see it leave....but the 359 Pete haulin' it off was immaculant! Beautiful rig.

Its hard to see some stuff go isnt it! But being without debt is a good feeling too lol

Yes, it is hard to see it go. Especially when I grew up in that truck in the interstate watchin' my dad work through the back window. I remember the day he got it in brand new in 1982. Solid white from bumper to bumper.

That truck is awesome looking. It will still out pull many of the newer hydraulic wreckers today.

It will never pull again. Why would they....they have a 75 ton rotator!

Ernie's new 2007 Peterbuilt / Century 75 Ton Rotator.

God that rotator does things to me... Giggity!

Oh and um... Is that new fangled thing deleted yet?

Nope. Momma told me I couldn't play until it is paid off. I lack 16K and if the dump truck will sell, I'll only lack 9.5K. :( Now taking donations. LOL

Please don't post pics of your rotator.

Doesn't she let you play at all?! Jeez... Tell her to be nice!

I have a newer truck with 22,000 miles on it....I'd say she let me play pretty hard this year. :D I don't really want to jeapordize my remainging 78,000 of engine warranty either.

I'd rather see that Egr gone vs. a warranty but I also see your point.

God I would have loved to have had that wrecker. :drool1:

Glad to see it was going to someone who would appreciate it!
