wtb 12 valve head studs

This tight ass is desperate. Can't see spending that much on such a small box.. anyone want to send a free set with a bunch of stickers. I drive 75,000 mile a year, it will be good advertising.

Jake, I'm about to fasten this ringed head down with some new stock bolts. What you think?

I work at fastenal... I'll get you some bolts for free... pm me I'll help u out... I've done this on all my trucks

That's right up this guys alley lol. I wouldn't be scared of bolts. I'd check them every once in a while esp with your driving. There was some studs a while back on the forums for 2-300 range. Guess its the wrong time of year?

Try ARP lube, some guys are getting better results with ARP and factory bolts vs oiled bolts. I couldn't get the oringed head on my Junker Drag Truck to hold with oiled used headbolts torqued to 135 ft lbs. It held for a long time with retorqued 245k mile headgasket and bolts.

I got a tub of arp lube! Awesome stuff. I really appreciate the offer on the bolts, if I don't find some used studs I will definitely take you up on that buddy.

I'm o ringing the head this time. Will, I figured you would have a spare set.. I actually tried calling you today. Don't know if I have the correct phone number for ya though.

Last stock head bolts were at 150 ft lbs with arp lube.. lasted about a year and a half. I beat it daily.

I don't play as hard as most of you old bastards. I'll bite the bullet and buy some, I'm just a tight ass.
