Need your guys honest opinion on my build will it be a mean street truck or not.

13mm diesel performance engineering pump with quick rate cam
5K governor spring kit

block stiffener
Smokem (weston) 5x18 injectors
.093 stainless steel injector lines
fluidampr

i am sure there is more but give me your honest opinions, its a street/puller will be playing around at some brush pulls in my area should i have a problem or should it be pretty stout. Thanks allot

fletcher diesel pros cam not sure what it is biggest street cam he has had to shave 30 thousandths off the pistons

yeah i figure on breaking some driveline parts told weston i wanted 900 to 1,000hp hope to be close. the pump is set at 600cc's right know will tune as needed

i will have it running friday hope to pull at gallipolis tuesday, if you guys see anything you would change let me know, i was trying to keep it somehwat streetable, not everyday driver but play on the street.

As I wish you the best on it but you wont be anywhere close to those HP numbers. I hope you do but I just dont see it. I see around 700-800 or so. :nos: Get you some and that will help out I guess if your into that stuff. 900-1000 hp is no joke and isnt easy like folks think. Sounds easy when you have all these common rails making these 1000 hp dyno number then getting spanked by 700 hp p pumped trucks out on the road and track. But a true 1000 p pump truck isnt as easy as everyone thinks.

If you will use Fletcher cam, you better use his springs aswell.

What type of pistons?

I would use modified 12mm pump with 5x16 injectors.....:pop:

Do a search and read up on RonA's previous posts. He went to a 13mm pump with roughly that size of twins and did 8xx hp... Keep in mind that he didn't just thow some parts together either, he's tried a boatload of injectors/turbo's, and dyno'd numerous times to get things dialed in... He's still tweakin on it too...

i really researched also weston is sending me a set of 5x18 dual feeds, this setup ought to be good for atleast 900hp as i ahve seen many do it with lesser parts, the pump is set at 600cc's but is capable of 1,000 jsut come off the stand at diesel performance engineering and it was still fueling at 5400rpm's when he shut it down, should be pretty stout.

where you located?

I don't doubt the fuel to hit 1000, it's more the air and tuning needed to get there...

sounds like it'll be a fun ride...prolly quite smokey on the street...

let us know how you like the 64 over s480!!
I'll be running a little smaller set w/ a 62 over 480

Was the intake cut off the head? That should be enough air to make 1000 in a CR with a 300cfm cylinder head, but I don't know exactly on a P-pump.

yeah the head was i know 1,000 is pushing it bt my goal is and weston has been great helping me is to have a 1,000hp street 12v, i will get there it will take tuning and time but it will happen, weston will get teh 5x18's out to me and i might jump to a 66 top charger we will see, 900hp aint nothing to sneeze at.

I know what the gate is for...just wondering if he plans on spraying it...

I know my 62/71 over s480 should be close to 1:1...just wondering how far off a 64 will be...
