your opinions on my build is it gonna be mean or not

Depending on timing and how well the injectors work(not a dig Weston), you should be at least in the mid 800's with that setup and pump set around 600cc. I made 820 with my pump at minimum plate(550-575cc), Mach 7 injectors, 64/88 twins, Helix 2 cam, ported head(ex only), and timing at around 25 degrees.

thanks allot guys its fun to get on here and hear your opinions, when i set out to do this it spurred from my truck last year i took a 95 truck threw a 913 pump on big dv's and a set of small twins hx40/16 over ht3b/27, it was a very fun street truck i only had a junk set of 370's in it. I competed really good around the brush pulls but never made a hook that i didnt blow a boot or a turbo. Keep in mind around here its vannest ville and them guys all run the nos and its hard to beat. So when i built this truck i wanted a stout street 12v and my goal is 1,000hp. This truck should be way above and beyond last years truck dont ya think.

Good luck is all i can say ,pro stock trucks are lucky to make 1000hp

i watched you guys pull in perry county good bunch of trucks, i would love to hook against you guys with my street truck. Let me know when that can happen i know twins aerent allowed in your classes right.

yeah the head was i know 1,000 is pushing it bt my goal is and weston has been great helping me is to have a 1,000hp street 12v, i will get there it will take tuning and time but it will happen, weston will get teh 5x18's out to me and i might jump to a 66 top charger we will see, 900hp aint nothing to sneeze at.

I think you would see more gain upgrading to a larger bottom turbo (primary) than wasting time and money going from 64 to 66 on your top turbo (secondary).

You can only make as much horsepower as the bottom turbo can produce air for. An S480 will push the same amount of air through either top turbo: 64 or 66. You might as well have the faster spool up of the 64.

5x.018's and a 13mm is an amazing combo... you definitely won't need full rack travel tho..

anytime Mt verion, knox county fair is this saturday see you there

i wont be able to make it this weekend but definitely wanna run against u guys, and if a pro street truck cant make 1,000hp then they dont know what the heck they are doing, if i wasnt building theis thing for the street 1,000hp would be a piece of cake, but when you want streetability in a 12v and high horsepower that makes it hard.

Yes that 5x.018 combo is what i have heard is the best combo for a 12v.

a 13mm pump, some 5x.018's, a banks 6 gun, a little bit of smarty, i think 1000 is really easy. :)

ragged edge says the pro street guys are having a hard time making it, must not know what they are doing, for a non streetable truck 1,000hp is a PIECE OF CAKE.

shoot i no those prostreet guys dont no what they are doing damn the 9 second 1/4 miles and and low 6 second 8th miles prove they have no idea ????

Hell if 1000hp is so easy we should just put one in a pro stock tractor and make 2500hp easy then wright?

shoot i no those prostreet guys dont no what they are doing damn the 9 second 1/4 miles and and low 6 second 8th miles prove they have no idea ????

i am not saying anything derogatorym, jsut stating if your building a truck and its an all out pulling truck and the streetability doesnt need to be there if you cant build a 1,000 hp truck you dont need to be building one. you guys can jump on me or say whatever but the truth hurts just stating the facts.

its all money thats all it is, if ya got it you can make it

Dude you have no clue!!!!!! Especially if your on here asking how to get hp from your motor and what will work if 1000hp is easy why aren't you there yet
