gearhardt and johnston, the wheels' backspace as I recall is 6" but since they are 10" wide they do stick out slightly. But not bad, if they had backspace of 6.5 to 7.0" they would be quite a bit better. These would not work as well on 2000 and newer trucks though because all trucks since then have a 2.0" wider track (the wheels would stick out 1" more).
The wheels are Panther brand, I don't plan to run them indefinitely though. Eventually I want to put Centerline 20x8.5 wheels with 30mm offset and 275/55/20 tires. . . they would not stick out at all and you can get a higher weight rating tire (load rating 117 which is 2833 lbs which I think counts for Load Range D). Also I have seen 20x9 rims with 25mm offset on Discounttire.com which I think would keep them in pretty well too. I think 275/55/20s need a 9" wide rim at least.
