anyone done a DIY spring gate actuator?

Did some digging and surprised I couldnt find anything like this. Ive got a S300 turbo that needs a new wastegate actuator, it dented on the shock tower.
Looking at the spring actuator they look dead simple. Would just need to find the spring force and length needed. Anyone seen this done?

Is there a thread somewhere of an example project? Not sure of what my settings are currently on this turbo. Only that its gated to 40psi or so from II when I got it.
I dont have the puck and hole sizes available.. but I have heard its of reaming the hole larger and/or get a spacer to allow full swing on the puck when considering twins, so I could get those measurements if/when I do those mods.
