Pretty cool stuff.

What's not cool is that some one stole the bus bars from our Motor Contorl Center last friday night...
 
That's sucks, kinda need those buss bars.

My phone would only shoot 15fps so it didn't capture all the arcs since they are 60hz.can draw an arc 18"long, open your hand up and get arcs from all five fingers.
 
If you can get a hold of the new GoPro you can shoot low resolution video at 120fps or 720p at 60fps. Looks like a fun job.

so the only way you would be toast is if you grab both wires? it freaks me out being underneath those lines when you can hear the buzz

Not a chance in hell I'd do that.

Isn't that where you need some bar to get the electricity to jump and surround you in the shield? If you don't use the bar, zap...?
