Did you use all 1/2 ton parts? A good friend of mine just did an ss conversion to his 06 dmax this fall. All factory silverado ss parts, he custom made all brackets for the bumper. If you have any questions about bumper brackets etc let me know. Looking good so far. I can post up pics if you want for reference

All hd brackets, it sits a little low. We will have to find a way to raise it up about 2".

Had the same issue, just made a set of brackets to make up for the gap. I'll see if I can get a picture of how he did his, couldn't be too hard.

Ducts ordered and on the way. Cladding found and held. Rear bumper is pending. Still lost on the wheels.
