thinking outside the box for a second on this. I'm working with a isb 170 and there is little to no aftermarket support for this engine computer.
I had a thought. What if I used a harness and ecm from say a ford 2.3l SD motor with a tweecer module? The same might work for a 5.9 using a 300 ecm.
Simple speed density computer. 4 injectors. I can control when they fire and the duration as well. Downside is I only get one injection cycle per fire. I imagine it would be just as loud as a 12v by doing it this way, but it might be an option.
Any thoughts or ideas on this? I just see an option to have a fully programmable ecm for less than $500.
