They don't need that HP, so Pat @ Big Twin who designed the turbos and intercooler set up was trying to tone it down. Cool little truck (datalogs something over 70 sensors) it sure wants to make HP. I don't believe I've had many trucks on here where tuning for less HP was the goal. Hard to not turn it up and make the HP it is really capable of, but they have goals and level heads on how to reach them.

They will be back next week to put on the finishing touches before the week long event on the salt.
 
We all knew the tires were questionable so we set-up cameras on tri-pods. Wasn't a surprise to us all, and basically ready for it.
 
I still have that pic of Merchant's tire deforming at 750hp from years back.

How much damage did the blown tire do to the truck and your dyno roller?

They both went and Ditto, the crap flying outof and of of the drums couldnt had been good LOL
