Kind of a derail here but something else to help spooling. Has any one looked at bd lately? Theyre coming out with a diverter valve.

For removing 1 and 6 freeze plugs through the fender.

Haven't seen that from BD yet but then again don't really keep up with their products. This kit isn't completly about getting faster spool time. Well I guess thats the main idea but lower egts and cooler air to the #1 & #6 cylinders too.

Would lock tite red work to seal the tubes into the head just as well as the silver seal stuff, I cant see paying 15.00 for that stuff

The lock tite your talking about is for
locking threads.

I thought the lock tite website said it was good for pressed fitting too? What would be something I could pickup at my local autoparts store?
