Police reports?

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but anyone know if the Indy State Officers have a time range for turning in documentation for a ticket. I got a smoke ticket (thanks to another truck, officer was a long ways away and the truck next to me got on it) and I've checked the online case lookup and called in and they still don't have record of it. It's been almost a month.
