Al's liner, step by step!

when should i deliver my truck and how long will it take you to make my bed look that good again?

:hehe: I enjoy doing these liners. I'll do your rig. It is so simple to do, just mask, scuff, clean & shoot. Trust me TJ, you can do this yourself very easily. :Cheer:

This is very tempting especially now that I have a capable air compressor thanks to my wonderful Girlfriend!(80gal IR commercial)

Dual stage?

:what: I don't know? Ashamed to admit, but how do I determine? It was purchased of a friend of mine he used it to spray vortex bed liners. He had two shops but the economy forced him to close one so he made me(my g/f) a killer deal on it @ barely over a year old.

how much to do my land yacht jamie? lol i do like the looks...

I'm trying hard to stay away from spraying the liners. I'd rather just sell you the liner & have you do it yourself. I'd put 3 gallons on that badboy! Even doing 3 gallons, you'd only have $300 in it if you do it yourself. Really, only 2 gallons would be enough, but I like 3 myself.:Cheer:

It is probably dual stage then. What model is it?

im just messin with ya...i have to figure out what to do with my dually flares....i want to two tone it black but im just afraid itll get beat to chit like the stock flares did if its just paint

no with it being the meg cab dually and wanting to two tone it, im debating with leaving the dually flares silver (they need re painted) or painting them the color of the rockers. i want black...but i think the giant flares would look stupid if they were linered....

or say piss on it and get a big cp3:hehe:

Color matched liner might look good.

First test of my Al's liner complete

2500lbs of rock salt

The guy driving the forklift dropped this corner & slid it across the liner, not even a scratch!

Im more concerned with doing the rockers than the bed anyway Jamie. I have a capable compressor, but have to do some major rust repair at the bottoms of my doors before I can sand and spray them. Once i stop them from rusting I will be doing this tho, my rockers are tore up from these rock covered pulling tracks.

looks absolutely amazing. Seems there are soo many DIY liners, but definitely better after seeing all the work done. You got the same thinking I had, practice on the bed first before tackling the rockers.

Maybe I missed it but how many gallons did you use for the bed and rockers?

Whenever you are ready bud. I'll have a pallet of liner with me at Diesel Dawg drags, I'll take orders before diesel days or any time. Just let me know.

I put 2 gallons on my bed, then decided that I wanted it thick. I put 2 more on & it is now like 1/8" thick. I only used 1 gallon on my rockers. Thats 5 total. I really only needed 3 gallons, but I like overkill.

Some more testing has been done & the Al's liner is holding up great!

It has been tested with 7 pallets of salt this winter as well.

The rockers have seen their share of abuse & they are holding up very well.
