BOB Indoor vids

Did anyone happen to get the friday workstock class on video? Also does anyone know the guy in the charcoal grey 4 door cr that hooked in that class? Man he sure made a fool of himself, but people like him should be ban from pulling for life for not watching and abiding by the flagmen.

What's up with anoucer sayin the amercian ride truck would take forever to spool up?

It has had some issues in the programming that kept getting overlooked. If the engine coolant temp is not at 190 degrees the truck will not rev over 3000 rpms. The truck will just get coughing and bucking until it gets up to temp. Guy was worried that because they didn't have a warm up tube at this pull that when the truck was sitting inside that the coolant temps may drop. He would have to sit on the line working it to get the temps back up. So he told the announcer that if it happens it was normal and it may take him a long time it get it to go.

This was the first time since the truck has been pulled since it was on the dyno for tuning. It ended up not being an issue at this pull. Hopefully the issue was fixed with the last programming session.

He is a pull where the truck had its worst time. His pull starts at 35 seconds:
Not sure what the camera did on this video. It is not our video.

Good vids Rod, wish we could have been there but my sis was graduating from murray state in couldnt miss that.

Sorry about that it somehow cut off Cole's distance when I pasted it on here. He went 253.09.

Jeff it was probably one of the wildest rides I have had. I know my truck usually does not bounce....but when I used to pull my gas truck and get a small lope in it .....it meant I was hooked to the track and would usually win.
In this case, I pulled with a 3.0 charger and I had about 400 lbs. less on the front than normal so this could be part of the reason for the bounce.
I"m still excited with the results.

See you Sunday at the SWWI Pullers party.

Was a good run see yea sunday

The super street class is combined with 2.8 and 3.0 trucks. The 2.8 trucks run stock style suspension and one ton drive train with 8000lbs. the 3.0 trucks run welded suspension and open drivetrain with 7500lbs.

Jus kiddin, These Fords are getting serious.

Talked to Guy before the pull, and i must say man, Awesome Run!

Yeah thats the one, thanks Michael for the video. The guy like you say must have some serious issues. For stuff like that he should be ban from pulling period!!:bang

He's all the time whining about how he gets screwed at pulls. He punched a promoter in the face at a pull this summer over something stupid. And he always whines if he has to pull against 2.6 or 2.8 trucks in a open class.

WOW! I just dont understand people, and why they have to act a fool. Its guys like that, that keep a bad outlook on the pullers. I mean I have caused some crap before but its for the guys pulling, just trying to keep things fair. But sounds like he is a cry baby and needs anger management classes...

This may be a stupid question but can the trucks with factory driveline run a 3.0 charger at 8000lbs or does it have to be bushed to 2.8?
