3rd Annual Texas Diesel Nationals

Buss you gonna have time to test and tune the truck before this event? Or is it gonna be the last wrench turns at 4AM and the ruck leaves out at 6?
 
i hope i have time. should be getting the roll bar in by the end of january? then its to the track to test. theres other things id like to do but not much time. this race will probably be fuel only. and hope it dont get too hot. theres lots of extra fuel so i can pull some out if need be.
 
Sweet, test it and if it gets too hot back off the fuel????

pffft! *nx*Spray that thing NO2 systems are not that expensive.
 
ive got a nx kit off the yellow truck that im trying to sell, to fund a bigger kit. but if its got too much fuel the nitrous will just make it hotter.

thats the plan. i really want to take these full cuts out but i want to get it down the track first before i go changing stuff.






hey jake. did jason throw in the stuff he pulled out when he gutted the truck? did he have racing seats in it? i thought the last time i saw it it only had one seat and didnt know if theres an extra racing seat laying around
 
I do have an extra seat but you might want to come fit test it. They are real tight on me.

Heck if you come to the track you can sit in the one in the truck and see.

Should run cooler with nitrous. High EGTS are from too much fuel the nitrous should burn some or all of the excessive fuel (depending on the size of the shot)

Why not keep the NX kit and just add another noid and controller?
 
When it burns the extra fuel it makes it hotter. Once it clears that up it'll start making it cooler. Well atleast that's what I've been told. And with this pump and injectors it's gonna take alot of nx.


Maybe the dual stage kit I'm looking at will be enough
