Standalone CR Sled trucks

Not so much. I'm having no issues with fuel above 4000 rpm ...

Brayden

Still working out issues here on mine. just got to get more time and get the parts here. Would love to come up and pull but until it's worthy to travel and pull im not taking it far.

Are you making good power above 4000 with efi? Sounds like Toops make good power but seems to fall off at the higher rpm levels. We are still tuning on Jared's to make power and rev at the higher rpms. Im just trying to use my own as a test dummy vs. using someone elses. So I'm being conservative on changes.

I found the reason the truck was acting up the last couple hooks.. huge boost leak at the intake horn, it was snapped in the right corner and broke like a golfball size chunk missing..lol, it ran great in indiana spun out locked up with 36s before that happend. Im getting some work done right now that should improve the truck alot also. Rpms for my truck is not what were doing right now... next year will be diff. but the motor I have now Im not going to try to kill its worth money to someone through the winter.. I go down the track around 3200-3600 depending on track.. Im not sure if you agree with me wes on what I told jared about his gears and tire situation but I know if I was kicking ass like his truck does with a heavy sled what I would be doing.

Low rpm wasn't really the goal with the standalone, but if it works for Jared, then all the better.

I think to make power up as high as what he wants he needs a cam that requires flycuts... it will only pull so much air with that valve open for that little time. he has fuel no doubt.. but I think his air is limiting him now.

I have a video of the truck going down the track at 4200-4300 untill half track... would that work.. you can see if it was defueling.. Trucks apart for a little while so no logging anytime soon..lol

If you dont mind me asking, wheres the advantage in a standalone or EFI if your not looking for higher rpm than what the stack can give you? I'm not trying to come off wrong im just really asking...and would you happen to have a vid of you in indiana? Are theyre other efi live trucks out there here in the indiana ohio kentucky area pulling?

I dont know of any other efi live dodges pulling around here or indiana or kentucky..lol I do have a pull video from fleece. Tunability you ever seen a smarty's tables.. not that there horrible but... there wont be a 100hp diff in a standalone and a smarty stack in 2.6.. But when you lose by less than 1 ft you will wish you had a extra 20 hp..lol

Im sorry but I havnt seen a 3.0 or 2.6 standalone truck come close to touching a good running 12v this year? maybe you need to stay away from brush pulls??? out here and most places 12v's are still whooping up on us!
