I would not have expected the the pulling track to be where you are going to put it....

Its awesome I can keep my butt in the same seat to watch both the drag racing and pulls :D

So are the pulls going to be run while the drag racing is going on, or separately?

The plan is to get all drag racing done by 5pm and be pulling by 6pm

i talked to a few local pullers from the area......your tech guys are gonna have fun

We know that the west coast is not used to east coast rules

Weight , Turbo size and Hitch Height and safety is the main focus.

Our techs are not there to fail everyone but to get everyone accustomed to how things are going to be in the future

Any Sled Pullers that are wanting to attend the World Finals in September will have to meet all class rules so next weekend will be your warning weekend

East coast rules should stay on the east coast. Let the locals pull without jumping thru hoops. But then again this event is being put on by the NHRDA.

Sparkly jeans posted on facebook, he's gonna try. For 8s with a allison. Can't wait to see cannage on the track LOL

When are they going to start putting in the pulling track? Haven't broken ground as of yesterday?

make dimitri run last, so when he oils down the track. the hold up isnt long for the rest...

LOL, I'll warn the track guys to have extra oil-dry ready! On a serious note anything quicker than a daily driven truck should have a diaper on it, it's cheap insurance to keep from getting in your own oil, and it dramatically shortens cleanup!

We had to wait till the Oldy but Goodies event was completed.

The track was supposed to get in today but It has been raining, so we are shooting for tomorrow or Wednesday to get sled pull track in.

The oldies but goodies was an awsome event, place was packed!! Lots of great old rods and very cool old dragsters.

Can anyone post sled track conditions?

Brown dirt, loose?

Clay based tight...etc?

Trying to decide on tire package to bring.

Typical West Coast track...mud terrains or tight track for all-terrains.

The track is farmland dirt for this year.

We will be working the track both Thursday and Friday with a disc and tire roller

Nothing better than putting in a track in the rain , gotta love the Northwest

That's going to make for some awesome spectating on the sled pulls! Another fun thing about this track is that the return road comes back right in front of the grandstands (where the trucks are in the photo above), so if you win you get to be right next to the cheering fans.
