Comments from other people that out weigh the comments of the owners are far from self praise....

What the public shares and says is out of our control.

I'm glad you'll poke at us from behind the computer though, even after personal invitations to come participate in events

We dont "praise our trucks more than necessary". More so proud more than anything. There will always be people that dont like it or would have done something diffrrent. But thats the difference between you and I. Nobody ever said you were jealous. This is my dream build and Im ecstatic its finally happening. So hell yea Im going to post pics left and right bc I can and Im trying to promote the female diesel enthusiast side of it all. Never have I said my s*** dont stink. I would appreciate you not criticizing the work done to this truck till I see you do the same build.

And why would I take my truck to bfe texas for an event that couldn't hardly get the rules straight the last time I was looking at it? As I replied to you I would try and make it depending on work at the shop and I ended up having to much to be able to take off that long.
 
Y'all are way to sensitive. But it's cute that boyfriend and girlfriend are teaming up.
I don't care that you post pics, I'm glad your proud and excited about building it. If you weren't there would be no point in it.

Cool story bro. Why waste time traveling half way across the state to attend a "drag racing event" hosted by a person and a "shop" that have admitted they have no knowledge of or affiliation with actual drag racing. Add to that yet, what motivates this individual to champion a cause for a group of racers from another continent?

By the way, I have always been curious, what does Taquache Motorsports actually do anyways? Is it a performance shop? A body shop? A suspension shop? I do see that most of the work on this particular truck has been done by a separate fabrication shop, are you reselling their work?

These are just a few lingering questions I've had, as I have yet to line up against a truck from that shop, one that's so closely tied to drag racing and all. Make no mistake though, a question as an after thought hardly constitutes jealousy, so don't try to hide behind your typical method of excusing people that don't adorn you with praise.


Edit: Just to be clear, I don't dislike this truck. I do however think that it should be finished and built to a higher quality if it's primary purpose is as a "show truck". It would also likely be more appealing if the egos got out of the way.

Finished works end up in museums. All else ends up in a car show.

I'm confused about all this bickering. The title of the thread is very specific. It doesn't say anything about show scores or drag racing that I'm aware of.

No truck is ever finished. Like I said before I'd be happy to pick apart your bolt on parts trucks, but most of the time I still can give a compliment. They do look good. What's not cool is pulling up to a truck that's almost identical OR can be built in a weekend. There's plenty more in store for this truck. Perfection is an opinion. Never did anyone say its perfect but it performs just as it should. Keep in mind I have a full time job. This is currently a hobby until I have time to take it further. So considering all parts weren't here until a month ago I'd say the 4 weeks turned out more fabrication than your trucks combined in 4 yrs. I'm fine with criticism, it keeps builders on their toes. What running your mouth doesn't do is grow the sport. It most likely keeps you from showing your face at events where your mouth has overgrown itself.
 
Blazd get off there nuts. If you could finish my truck in a weekend you'd be a monster but you can't. I have more time in Half of my trucks body work than you have in fabbing that whole truck. Like said I have nothing against the truck what gets annoying is the comments about why they don't understand why neither of there trucks have made magazines yet, everything is one off custom, pissing and moaning last year over not winning show and shine at either denton or finals. blah blah blah. Neither truck is just some crazy idea. I hope the work continues and there happy with it.
 
I'm on no nuts. I'm defending my work. And a lifted truck with wheels can't be done in a weekend? Ill make you a deal. Ill go buy one, lift it on wheels and if its not done in a day you pay for it all and I keep it. No? Ok then. Last I checked I've had trucks in mags so don't come at me like you have the be all end all of trucks. I don't think their anger comes from not being in a mag or winning a bolt on truck show. I just think they are tired of some dudes sitting in their whitey tightys eating Cheetos talking about how dumb they are for enjoying themselves. I mean the orange on your pecker shows your having a good time so I think everyone is allowed without persecution.
 
You obviously don't pay attention. I said my 6.4 was there this weekend I didn't say anything about my dodge. It was in a magazine as well. It was actually shot at the first event it's been to and have talked with the editor at diesel power as well. Since your the one fabbing it why don't you get that 4" grinder out with about 6 wheels and clean that stuff up on the front bumper bracket. You'll find alot more wrong with your work on that truck than you will with mine. I had no intention of throwing my truck/work into this until you brought it in.

The comments I made about them whining was from hearing it with my own ears and posts made online.
