A Girls RCSB 1/2 Ton 12v

Halfton12v

The Lower Society
So, some of you may already know me or my truck, for those of you who dont, Ide like you to meet, Layla. Layla is a 2000 1/2 ton scsb with a 1995 12v under the hood. She started life as a 5.2L gasser. Ive owned her now for almost 3 years. When I bought her she was your average little truck, 160k miles, 20in chrome wheels, etc. Since then Ive installed 22in kmc slides, led tails, 6k HID's, rollpan, 4th gen front bumper, coach door panel inserts, viper cowl hood, all paint(pinstriping) by myself, 5in front 9in rear drop, and of course, all the diesel conversion goodies :) This truck has always been a dream of mine and Im so pleased to finally be able to share it with everybody. Below are just a few pics of her progress over the last couple years....

A week after I bought her

Looks good except that 4th gen bumper the grill lines just don't match up. do a 2nd gen sport bumper or aftermarket one but don't make it look hacked up.

Welcome! Looks good. I like the paint sceem! The black that is. LOL Nice and clean not over the top.

I like to think its custom, not hacked. To each their own opinion. It had a keystone(aftermarket) bumper but that fudged up my grill bc it didnt fit with the sport grill. I try not to be like everybody else so therefore thats why I didnt go with a stock sport bumper. Its still not compete, as far as Im working on cleaning up the gap between the grill and bumper.But thanks for your input though

I wonder if it would work to cut out an inch or two from the center of the bumper and narrow it a little.

WOW This is a sweet truck!!!!

Wish I could see it in person and talk my gf into this kinda stuff

Oh wait......

:rockwoot::bigsmile:

Thats our exact plan. Its got a very slight lip on the outside of the headlights, not enough to bother me but once I get the truck back up to lubbock to get the frame notched Im hoping to get all these other little things taken care of. She should be in tip top shape by next year

very cool truck! I like how you put your own personality into the truck with the pink and the coach interior. The short (low) stack looks awesome on the low truck. the bumper is cool its different i get tired of seeing the same old thing so that s cool.
