Truckers, lets see your rigs!

I see a couple inch dip in the trailer.... Maybe I'm seeing things lol If the trailer don't have much for arc before a machine then it makes sense but our lowbeds have a decent arc in them.

Yea I looked it up again and obviously looked up the wrong one the first time. 34k is right.
This trailer has zero arch compared to the newer stuff I've pulled.
I'm not sure what year it is. The axles may give someone a better idea idk.
I'm pulling it again tomorrow. I'll try and get some pics to compare. I have to load that same loader so I should be able to do a before and after.

So.... Got the new truck to the house... I'm gonna like this truck. However I noticed something worth it's weight in gold and I'm confused about it. I'll post some pictures of the confusing goodness and some others and see if anyone can explain.

Look at the bottom of the trailer and you can see it's not dipping. The angle the pic is taken if looking at the top it appears to be. But it's not.

Is that dry weight? Or with fluids? Oh and the blade? I've seen weights listed before without the blade. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than 34k

You would be the guy to ask. The new 11L Paccar they're offering now. Is that a totally new engine or is that something that's been offered over there for a while and just new here.

Personally I think they're going the wrong way. The 12L ISX isn't a big seller in the class 8 trucks so I can't imagine there is a huge demand for a slightly smaller version of the Paccar. Especially how underpowered the MX13 is from the factory. Missing the 15L market which most trucks even the fleets are buying.

I think it's like the Cat C10, exact same as C12 except for crank and cyl bore. So your gaining no weight savings. Seems pointless.
I think that 11 L has been offered in some smaller DAFs, I'm not sure, not very big fan of Paccar products.

But smaller displacement is for fuel economy and emission systems. Too big engines have lower EGT and that is not enough to keep DPF clean. 15 and 16 liters is too much for your light weights. We are mostly using 13 liter engines up to 60 tons and only heavier are big 15-16 liters, but not always , law requires only 530 hp for 76 tons.

Your mirror brackets are missing the vertical bars, and its got 379 door panels

Cat showed "operating weight" so if say it's with the bucket.

To me it looks like it's dipping not just a constant angle.

34k is operating weight including bucket and fluids and all.

Ya what's up with that? I'm not a Pete guy so can someone explain?

I've never seen it before... I haven't got to look to see how it's been done. I love it. I hate wing Windows.

I like the old look of the vent windows but they are annoying as phuck is like to rid my w9 of them somehow.

I do know I'd probably have to trim the ring that finishes off the little window at the door bottom so the glass could slide by

Buddy with the marmon I put a pic of a while back did this to his marmon. It has 359 doors on it, when he pulled his wing window out to replace them because they were both craked there is a track slot in the front of door so he just ordered track liner and had a full window cut, then had a place in I think Cali build a electric regulator.

It was still dark and too dark for a before but I'm headed for another piece.

I'm not sure how I missed that haha. What style of door handle does it have on the outside? The old style or the 05+ style?

Don't have much for gravel shoulders around there? I don't move machines without tarps front and back. Seen too many windows go. Covered fenders or not. Especially back being uncovered.

Those pics were taken in a little bitty town. I loaded it there in the street. Loader was at the railroad crossing. Railroad is having me move all this.

Here's the next POS...
