Looks like you put some thought into everything underhood. What is the gauge on the pass side of the core support for?

Thanks guys. It's a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I didn't really want the gauge in the cab in case it decided to start leaking so I just mounted it under the hood where I can see it quickly. I still have the cluster gauge in the cab though.

Some more pics. The original truck. Before and after on the motor and engine bay.

What all is done to the mighty VE, injectors, turbo?

I appreciate the effort you've put in to make it yours.

Here is a list of what I have bought for the swap besides the complete donor truck...

Radiator hoses
12 quarts of mobil one motor oil
12 quarts of atf+4
Wix Oil fiter
Wix transmission filter
Hx35w turbo
Adjustable turbo elbow
Xs power intercooler
3" intake horn
4" turbo back MagnaFlow exhaust
6" hex tip powder coated royal blue
Intercooler 3" universal kit
Sunpro oil pressure mechanical gauge
New motor mounts
Rear performance billet freeze plug
Glowshift gauges- Boost, egt, fuel pressure, vacuum, and Trans temp
Autometer overhead console 4 pod holder
Maxtow a pillar 4 gauge pod holder
Push to start button
Billet side freeze plugs
Billet tappet cover
Billet intake plenum
Grid heater delete
Oil catch can with breather
Beans diesel sump pump
Fass titanium fuel pump
Fass Fuel filter
Kdp kit
New gaskets everywhere
Blue hood pin kit
Bd fuel pin
3200 governor spring
New water pump
Redone head
Milled pedestals
Arp studs
New 40 hp injectors
Custom trans lines
Custom ps lines
Custom shifter cable
05 f350 long bed 4x4 driveshaft with all new u joints and carrier bearing and correct weld yoke

There is a bunch more little things that I'm sure I'm forgetting. I'll try to add as I remember.

I'll be tackling the ac system soon so that'll add on to it. I already have an 07 compressor off a 6.7 so I'll just need to have lines made.

Rear end is actually doing great. I've been driving it harder and harder. I rebuilt it about 10 thousand miles ago, didn't need it but I thought it was time. I do refuse though to do a burnout or something that would put a sudden torque load on the axles. I want it to last as long as possible. I do have a rolling 08 f250 4x4 frame that I plan on stealing the axles off of later and SAS the truck. In time though. Lol

Cool project. I will agree with Corneilus that there are a few things that arent up my ally but it is a cool build.

I've been wanting to do this with a standard cab short box. But I'm afraid of the wiring nightmare. I'd want the gauge cluster to work correctly.

Easy. Keep your old sensors and pcm and hook them into the new motor. Everything will work as it should with the exception of the tach. You need a alternator kit for that. Speed sensor is in the rear end. Everything inside my truck works without the motor in the truck except for the ignition switch. A push to start button fixed that.

The fact that you did this in/next to an apartment garage means you're way more ballsy than I am!
And I'm surprised your dash isn't lit up like a christmas tree. I'd love to do a 1500 2WD Ppump setup one day with a 4th Gen and a built Ford 9". For some reason, they're still very expensive even with a blown motor though :-(

You do what you've gotta do if you want something done. Lol I had been planning the swap for a while but I just figured better now than never. I do really want to convert to a Ppump because I want the in cab fuel controller but we will see. The only lights I have lit up on the dash is the check engine light and the check gauges light. I'm about to go into the cluster and pull the bulbs to each of those so they won't be on.

That swap you described would be pretty cool, especially if it was a little lowered. If it were mine I'd probably put a hood stack on it. Lol

Wow that's quite the project. Impressed to see how well you pulled it off. Nice skills.
